Postages stamps in post-war Taiwan can be read as officially sanctioned texts that reflect the intention and the ideology of the government of the Republic of China (ROC), which was controlled by the Kuomintang of China (KMT). The first purpose of the thesis was to find out that how postage stamps were issued by the government of the ROC, also known as the government of the KMT. Another aim of the thesis was to investigate themes that reflect the formation of the party-state identity. Finally, roles of the stamps as tools to affect the identity of people in post-war Taiwan were examined in the thesis. In the thesis, it was discovered that postage stamps in post-war Taiwan had played a part in the formation of the party-state identity although a postage stamp was not the only tool to change people’s identity. 周婉窈 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 100 zh-TW
