Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電信工程學研究所 === 105 === Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) concept is now considered as the future radio access (FRA) in wireless communication such as 5G towards the 2020s information society. In the concept, NOMA superposes the signals of multiple users in the power domain and it adopts a successive interference cancellation (SIC) receiver as the baseline receiver scheme. On the other hand, dirty paper coding (DPC), which is another way to implement NOMA concepts, is regarded as a possible way to solve the problem of SIC (e.g. error propagation). Therefore, this thesis focus on the comparison of SIC and DPC.
In chapter 4, we briefly introduce the concept regarding traditional hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) and propose the method, which can combine NOMA systems with HARQ, to enhance the system efficiency. Due to the property of superposed multi-user signal in NOMA, the MCS, power allocation, scheduling method of each user pair should be considered at every transmission. By simulation, we show that it can improve the system spectral efficiency for both SIC and DPC. Also, we compare the performances of SIC and DPC in link level and system level.
