This qualitative research used semi-structured guidelines to interview eight male and female research participants. Most of the participants saw the research recruitment in the social media, and one participant came from the recommendation of a placement agency. Eight narrative stories are presented here to offer some relevant insights. The main findings are presented as follows: 1) Context of sexual abuse: The context is very ambiguous, or seems to be very casual, or can be very threatening. Many negative influences of sexual abuse came from the way the society talks about sex, not from the sexual abuse itself. 2) Sexual activities: All eight participants experienced at least one sexual activity. Most of the participants did not engage in high risk sexual activities, or showed no sexual interest at all. None of the participants became sexual offenders, nor experienced re-victimization; however, two participants suffered sexual assaults. Many participants had unwanted sexual activities with their partners. Besides, Five participants have positive sexual self schema. 3) Sex culture: During the heterosexual relationship, the virgin complex still has a huge influence on the female participants. While premarital sexual activities are accepted by the society, extramarital sexual activities are not. Gay culture is very welcome in the universities. The subsequent sexual activities can be completely different due to the different reactions from the society. 沈瓊桃 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 197 zh-TW
