Summary:博士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系教育研究所 === 104 === This research aimed at a case study on the effect for a child’s self-concept with divorced new resident parents through bibliotherapy. The participant was a sixth grade boy student. The researcher applied twelve courses and each time lasting for 40 minutes. The researcher explored the change of the participant’s self-concept after bibliotherapy counseling, by means of qualitative analysis on comparison and match of the collected information data from Children Self-Attitude Questionnaire, Sentence Completion, H-T-P Test, and the reflection notes of the researcher and the interviews recorded. The main finding showed follows: There are improvements in concepts of the family and integral self, although there is no change in the pretest and posttest scores of physical self, school self, self psychology according to the scores of the Children Self-Attitude Questionnaire. There are promoted and consistent results in self-concept and case study interviews treatment on the test of the Sentence Completion and H-T-P Test for the participant with divorced new resident parents through bibliotherapy.
