For the purpose, the study is doing literature review on the basis of the theoretical research for understanding the origin and the manufacturing method of Burr puzzle, woodworking instructional method and its relative instructional design to apply Burr puzzle to woodworking instructional design The purposes of this study are: 1. To analyze and chose the suitable Burr puzzle as a teaching example to design and implement a suitable woodworking instruction. 2. To explore the learning efforts of the learners by applying Burr puzzle to woodworking instructions. This study took Action Research, with the 8 and 9 graders at junior-high-school in Taitung county as objects, to go with the experiencing activities of vocational groups at junior-high school, during Sep. of 2014 to Apr. of 2016. The period was one year and 8 months. The experiencing activities of vocational groups were the woodworking instructions of the Dept. of Interior Space Design’s specialized practice, associating with Burr puzzle that the most representative Chinese woodwork, to make experiencing activities more interesting. In the process of the activities, with observation records, questionnaires and recording and reflection, the teaching methods and the teaching materials were modified to solve the problems encountered and to find the corresponding strategies of instructional design. This study than had the conclusions as follows: 1. To choose the instructional theory of “3-piece Burr Puzzle”, which could be used to design the suitable activities of woodworking instructions. 2. To apply Burr puzzle to woodworking instructions did integrate and improve the learners’ learning motivations and sense of achievement. 施能木 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 154 zh-TW
