This research has adopted the method of questionnaires and has targeted the preschool principals, teachers, and parents in Taitung County as the subjects. The questionnaire’s quantitative data was derived from descriptive statistics and rendered the results, based on related questions for statistical inference. Main results and findings of this study are as follows: 1. 70.3% (83/118 preschools) of the public and private preschools in Taitung County did not have any teachers who could implement "integrated English teaching". At the public preschools, home-room teachers were in charge of English activities mostly, whereas at the private preschools, part-time English teachers were in charge of English activities mostly. 2. At the preschools in Taitung County, principals understood the policies of "integrated English teaching" more than the teachers did. The teachers understood the policies of "integrated English teaching" more than the students’ parents did. 3. 40.3% of the public preschool teachers in Taitung County agreed with the policies of "integrated English teaching". 49.2% of the private preschool teachers in Taitung County agreed with the policies of "integrated English teaching". 70.2% of the public preschool teachers in Taitung County were willing to implement "integrated English teaching". 89.2% of the private preschool teachers in Taitung County were willing to implement "integrated English teaching". 52.9% of the public preschool teachers in Taitung County had implemented "integrated English teaching" in their classes. 69.2% of the private preschool teachers in Taitung County had implemented "integrated English teaching" in their classes. 4. The teachers at private preschools hoped the preschools would implement “integrated English teaching” more than public preschool teachers did. The teachers at private preschools thought their students needed to start learning English at an earlier age than public preschool teachers did. 5. 71% of the public preschool students’ parents in Taitung County agreed with the policies of "integrated English teaching". 65.7% of the private preschool students’ parents in Taitung County agreed with the policies of "integrated English teaching". 80.3% of the public preschool students’ parents in Taitung County hoped the preschools would implement "integrated English teaching". 79.2% of the private preschool students’ parents in Taitung County hoped the preschools would implement "integrated English teaching".
