In order to teach with implement of comparative teaching and take good advantage of construction concept map as integration of text organization, the research takes first-year students of a selected vocational high school “A” High School as subjects, choosing [Zhi], [Er], [Ye] three function words from four lessons in classical Chinese of grade one teaching materials for vocational high school. This study adopts the action teaching method to analyze through pre-test, post-test result, and collected data of students’ learning questionnaires, teachers' observation, interviews and so on. The result shows that the use of audio-visual teaching and spoken function words in the text of comparative teaching may produce student’s motivations in learning function words of classical Chinese. Application of combinations with pictures and concept maps may enhance students’ interests in study, attract students to engage more in classical Chinese reading courses and enhance teacher-student interaction teaching process.
