Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 進修部暑期國語文補救教學碩士班 === 104 === This research aims to explore the influence of the integration of Bunun culture into components literacy teaching facilitating Chinese characters through articles on the literacy level and reading fluency, learning interest and attitude of students by studying 7 aboriginal students from the second grade of elementary school in rural areas through Action Research method. It designed the Bunun culture teaching texts via multimedia briefing and a ten-week literacy teaching with two lessons a week. The literacy level and reading fluency of the students were assessed before the implementation of teaching to facilitate the teaching contents design in accordance with students’ abilities. During the teaching, observations, learning feedback from the students, teachers' reflections and peer observation records were conducted to comprehend students' learning conditions. Assessment was made after 10 weeks of teaching to determine the learning effectiveness. The research findings showed that: the literacy level, learning interest and attitude of second grade elementary students in rural areas were significantly improved after the implementation of the “integration of Bunun culture into components literacy teaching facilitating Chinese characters through articles” while the reading fluency was partially improved. Accordingly, the researchers respectively proposed several practical suggestions based on the above research findings.
