Company W is a wooden teaching supply company that was established in 1970s. During 1980s, the company innovated and transformed to produce larger amusement facilities; it was one of the few companies that was approved by the ministry of economic affairs. In 1990s, due to the migration and decline of traditional wooden supply industry, the company gradually implement the strategies of cultural and creative industry that successfully transform company W to an interdisciplinary integration firm specialize in tourism, leisure, cultural and innovation. This investigation employs case study and in-depth interview approaches to examine how W company could re-create excellent firm performance by implement cultural and creative strategies. Meanwhile, this study also demonstrates how W company could successfully transform itself from a gradually declining traditional wooden teaching aid company to a unique and top-notch kind of touristic factory. The results of the case analysis from W company demonstrate the operating characteristics and successful critical factors of the cultural and creative industries. The results of this study could serve as an example for other related fields on how to successfully implement cultural and creative ideas to original products.
