People, finally, can't get rid of the destiny. We must remember that we are all mortal; to experience the bereavement and funeral ceremony is supposed to be as the individual life and subjective meaning, coming out with an effect on both of the direct and indirect ways.
Thus, the study focuses on three cases, dealing with four issues like death acceptance, the misery acceptance, the funeral ceremony and the significance of life, carrying on the semi-structured interviews by ruminating over the issues about death as well as making use of the thematic analysis to summarize and establish the theme structure to draw the conclusion as below.
1.The experience of bereavement and funeral ceremony might have different
influence on the viewpoint about death. The first experience to contact the
funeral ceremony has more influence than the others. Other effects could be
the experience like attempting suicide or being baptized for the religious
belief that all regard the death as a natural phenomenon. In addition,
people are able to talk about the funeral program with an open-minded
attitude toward the death and abstain from some taboos.
2.The experience of bereavement and some influence on the suffering viewpoints
are getting positive that make people understand the true meanings behind
their close relatives’ death and comprehend their difficulties what they
have been through, shifting those into a better self-achievement; moreover,
reconsider the views as the practice in life, and then face the music
aggressively and positively.
3.The influence of the experience of bereavement and funeral ceremony:
We found it hard for the majorities to identify with the traditional
inhumation. What’s more, we found most people have still confused and doubt
whether this kind of bury and the ceremony are inopportune or not although
we have executed those funeral customs varying with different religions and
eco-burial, or maybe it has more spaces to make it better. Furthermore, how
to choose the funeral ceremony to their close relatives means different
significance behind. They might vary from customs to customs, from selection
to selection. Some might follow the unfulfilled wish of the deceased to
execute the funeral; some might try to figure out the thoughts of the dead
because they aren’t able to make any decisions by themselves.
4.The influence of the experience of the funeral ceremony and the value in
life are of long standing and well established, including the personality
and the traits of the deceased work upon the living.
They might affect some parts of their personality of the living. Also, the influence of the funeral rites has been changed in every conceivable facet of life. It has gone deep into all fields of the subjective life, and the funeral rites give expression to the optimistic and broad-minded attitude toward life and death that every footprint that we pass by has its own principle. Thus, You only live once please go with the flow and seize the day. It is the ultimate aim in life.
