This study attempts to explore the effects of player’s performance and emotion for adding humorous and encouraging game narration in the game. In this experiment there are two different groups play the same reaction game, one for adding game narration, another one none. In order to find the changes of player’s emotion, the emotion recognition software is used to identify the changes during the whole process. The experiment results is that adding humorous and encouraging game narration can improve the performance of player in the game.
