The subjects included one hundred- thirty the fifth graders students in New Taipei City. Eighty students of them were experimental group, were taught through co-operative teaching, and another fifty students in the comparison group were taught traditional teaching. The research tools include " Argumentation Ability Test" and "Science Learning Attitude Scale". The experimental group were given argumentation teaching for fifteen Hours in ten weeks, applied with the qualitative data analysis of relative worksheets, observational records of the teaching site, reflection notes of teaching, and interview records of the students. The followings are the results: 1. On the Argumentative ability of the fifth graders, the experimental groups indicate better performance than the control group, showing significant difference. 2. On learning attitude of science of the fifth graders, the experimental groups indicate better performance than the comparison group, showing significant difference. 3. According to the interview data, students are generally positive attitude toward the co-operative teaching.
