The design of power system stabilizer is based on the Sugeno type fuzzy model. The training data set is taken from the dynamic response of the conventional power system stabilizer under system faulted conditions. A power system with a wind turbine and a diesel generator is chosen as the study system. The system responses due to major faults and variety of wind speed are analyzed.
