The system dynamic responses are investigated under occurrence of a three-phase short circuit fault, without and with installation of a Supercapacitor (SC). The results show that when a three-phase short circuit fault occurs in the system, the Supercapacitor (SC) will provide power compensation and thus improve the dynamic responses.
