| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 通訊與導航工程學系 === 105 === In this thesis, we are looking for the Nash equilibrium about political issues by using downhill simplex search based on Roemer’s model. We analyze the trade policies of Taiwan national elections and the trade strategies between Taiwan and China. In Roemer’s model, it is just about the elections between two parties in a country, so we try to extend it to the competitions between two countries. We figure out the maximum of the objective function with down simplex search, and then we get the solution making the Nash equilibrium exists, and explain the meaning behind the solution finally. We also simply describe the strengths and weaknesses in the development history of free trade, and the trade policies between Taiwan and China from the past to now. With the solution of Roemer’s model, we could find out the future of Taiwan trade policies.
