As softball no longer in Olympic games, both teams started to lose funding and players, then the damage shows on their performance on international events. In August of 2016, International Olympic Committee announced softball will be back for 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. However, only six teams can make to the Olympic instead of eight. Going to Olympic become an important and also hard mission for both China and Chinese Taipei softball association. This study explores can compare the preparation strategies of China and Chinese Taipei softball association, based on the twelve elements of China’s “Juguo Tizhi”(Whole Nation System). To fulfill the aims of this research, content analysis and semi-structured interview are used as research methods in this study. The result shows that China softball association is governed by the General Administration of Sport, which open minded to invite foreign coach, and take care of athletes needs during their sports career. Chinese Taipei softball association paid more attention to athlete’s education, and more willing to use sports science’s help into their training, build intelligence collection system and also established Taiwan Professional Women’s Softball League, to gain more games for athletes and also trying to resolve the athletes ensure problems. This study suggests that China softball association should pay more attention to athlete’s education, should establish an intelligence collection system, and make more games for athletes to play. The suggestions for Chinese Taipei softball association is they should be more open mind for new technique from the United States, invite more foreign players to join their league, and increase their pro league’s market value.
