The results of this study were as follows:
1. Table PC intervention on the functional sentence could increase the communication skills of junior high school students with autism spectrum disorder.
2. Table PC intervention on the functional sentence could not maintain the communication skills of junior high school students with autism spectrum disorder.
3. Table PC intervention on the functional sentence could increase the other communication skills of junior high school students with autism spectrum disorder.
Based on the findings of the study, suggestions for the instruction and future research were provided.
