I feel nowadays the city of Macau lacks a sense of security; some people have deviant social values, and the citizens are not able to protect or maintain our cultural core value, etc. In the process of creating artworks, I try to reflect and explore the imbalance of the living environment of Macau.In the end, I am able to form a different view toward Macau, and present a series of imagery of fantastic beautiful living environment. There are five chapters in the discourse: Chapter 1 is the “Introduction,” which covers the motivation, purpose,methodology, research structure, and the terminology. Chapter 2 is the “Theoretical Basis,” which discusses the psychological description and the aesthetic about the living environment, as well as my concern of the living environmental issues. Chapter 3 is the “Creation Practice,” which includes the overall creative concept,and discusses the contents, expression forms, printmaking techniques, and materials. Chapter 4 is the “Interpretation of Creation,” which explains the creative concept for individual artworks, and further analyzes the contents, forms, and techniques. Chapter 5 is the “Conclusion, “which reviews the creative goals and achievements,and discusses the perspectives of the future.
