The participants in Group B received forty minutes of the maximum number of repetitions of the individual within 30 seconds, the circular resistance training mode will be sports items sub-items, each movement repeated the number of repeated values of the second half of the resistance training。 three times a week. Both the trainings lasted ten weeks. The tests that all the participants took, before and after training, included speed (30-meter sprint), agility (Illinois agility run), power (vertical jump). All the data were collected from the experiment, established by use of descriptive statistics. An independent sample one-way ANCOVA was employed to compare the the differences of training effects within the two groups. The significance level α was set at .05.The result showed that after eight weeks of different training methods (Plyometric Training and Resistance Traing), the players in both groups improved in speed, agility and power, all of which reached signifant difference (p<.05). The differences in training effects between the two groups except speed test reached signifant difference (p<.05) ,agility and power test did not reach signifant difference (p>.05) In conclusion, plyometric training and resistance training was helpful to effectively promote speed, agility and power of senior grades boy basketball players in an elementary school. The differences in training effects between the two training methods on speed, plyometric training made much progress than resistance training, but the effects on agility and power were not apparent.
