The participants of the study were 421 junior high school students in Taiwan. Questionnaire survey was used as the method of this study, and the instruments used in the research included subject basic information, Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, Well-being Scale, and Chen Internet Addiction Scales. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The main findings of the study are as follows: 1. Self-esteem of junior high school students have significant difference due to different parents’ marital status. 2. Well-being of junior high school students have significant difference due to different parents’ marital status. 3. Interet addiction of junior high school students have significant difference due to different grade and different parents’ marital status. 4. There is a significant positive correlation between self - esteem and well-being of junior high school students. 5. There is a significant negative correlation between self - esteem and internet addiction tendency of junior high school students. 6. There is a significant negative correlation between well-being and internet addiction tendency of junior high school students. 7. Self-esteem of junior high school students can significantly predicate the internet addiction.
