Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系課程與教學教學碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this action study was to explore the effects of an action research
about merging career development education into learning area of integrative activities
for a junior high school. The target population consisted of twenty-eight third graders
from a junior high school, where the researcher served.The design of action research
program referred to career development education theories, relevant literatures,
capability index of integrative activities and major issues concerning career
developments in a junior high school. The research lasted for one semester. The
researcher analyzed the data from teaching journals, observation records, worksheets,
course feedback forms and questionnaires. As for the quantification research, the
researcher collected data by score of“Adolescent Career Development Inventory.” The
scores were measured by the pre-test and the pro-test. The results of the study are
summarized as follows:
1.The implementation of career development instruction
(1) The design of career development instruction should include students’ individual
differences.
(2) The design of career development instruction should consist of three main ideas
in career development education.
2. The teaching achievements of career development education
(1) The implementation of career development helps improve students’ concept of
career development.
(2) The school atmosphere influences the development of career development
instruction.
3.Teacher’s growth and self-reflection after applying career development instruction
(1) Increase researcher’s ability to design the curriculum by correcting and
improving himself in the cycle of action research.
(2) Career development education can be more useful by teacher-centered
instruction.
