They are widely distributed in wetland. Being an important component of plant diversity, they were found in a wide variety of habitats. This study aimed at the investigation of habitats for Fimbristylis ferruginea (L.) Vahl var. anpinensis (Hayata) H. Y. Liu, Fimbristylis cymosa R. Br. and Fimbristylis tristachya R. Br. var. subbispicata (Nees & Meyen) T. Koyama at Chiku in Tainan. The purposes are as follows: (1)observing the phenological of these plants (2)investigating their habitat environments and vegetation compositions (3)measuring their environmental factors to determind differences between habitats. Importance value index were calculated. We observed the phenological by measuring the soil pH valve, electrical conductivity, water content in soil and plant height. The three kinds of Fimbristylis all grew in neutral weak base environment. Fimbristylis ferruginea (L.) Vahl var. anpinensis (Hayata) H. Y. Liu growing in the highest soil moisture habitat, is the most waterflooding-tolerant among the three species, and can still survive in flooding environment in the rainy season. Fimbristylis cymosa R. Br. growing in the driest and least salt habitat, is the most drought-tolerant species, and can still survive and maintain a stable population in the dry season. Fimbristylis tristachya R. Br. var. subbispicata (Nees & Meyen) T. Koyama, growing in the highest salt habitat, is the most salt-tolerant species, which can growing in the rainy season. The habitat of three Fimbristylis species is differentiated, and forming different vegetation types. Tsung-Hsin Hsieh 謝宗欣 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 45 zh-TW
