Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 戲劇創作與應用學系碩士班 === 105 === Setting out from the child-center perspective, this study aims to explore how well the application of funny aesthetics and ways of performance in traditional drama matches children’s psychological traits through the analyses of performance in a traditional BangZi drama for children, “Where Does the Money Go?!”. In addition, this study also attempts to investigate the link between the traditional drama and children’s drama by integrating children’s psychological traits. The results of this study showed that the performance of traditional drama has much in common with children’s psychological traits, especially the nature for the love of playing games. Children’s nature for the love of playing games is just the embodiment of “combining teaching with humor” in traditional drama. Many aspects in performances related to funny aesthetics in traditional drama, such as comic gestures and remarks, alienation, ironic lines, and virtualization, can easily enlighten and entertain the audience at the same time in a fun and humorous atmosphere. This is akin to the application rules for comic gestures and remarks stated by Li Yu, “Relations are emphasized while the performance shall be natural”, and “comic gestures and remarks cannot be eliminated in a play”. As a result, this study came to the conclusion that the drama performances featuring elements of funny aesthetics are the significant elements that the traditional drama for children can inherit and adopt in innovative ways.
