| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 視覺藝術與設計學系碩士班 === 105 === This thesis is divided into two fields for exploration. First, on the level of connotation about painting, the subject matter set forth by the concept of procrastination. The second part is to examine the comic techniques contained within ink paintings. Finally, a conclusion of the two topics will be made with my works.
Procrastination plagues many people, and I was one of them. From the psychologist, Piers Steel’s work: The Procrastination Equation(2011), as well as from two other psychologists, Jane B. Burka and Lenora M. Yuen's book: Procrastination(2009), this article set out to explore procrastination's reason, influence, and solutions. And then, with the philosopher John Perry's The Art of Procrastination(2012), various experiences and recommendations could be drawn.
Comic style has been pioneering in Taiwan for some time. There are still young painters who keep creations going on. The next part of this article tries to analyze the influence of comic style to Taiwan's painting style, to explore the comic techniques, and to appreciate modern artists' comic style works.
Last, back to the author's works, the thesis describes personal creative ideas and forms, as well as individual works' procrastination connotation and comic techniques. Art enriches life, which is wonderful because of it. Such would be the expectation of the author's self to create better artworks.
