Traced back to early times, there were steam and coal as main energy resources. Nowadays, people employ nuclear power to generate electricity most of the time. These are all records from age to age and scientific evolution. However, Global warming effect changes fast and fiercely. In order to survive from natural counterattack, people start pondering over and this accelerates the development of renewable energy industry. According to the basic conditions of renewability and sustainability, “Solar energy” is definitely one of the sources of development and application. Without doubt, it could replace the nuclear power generation which we relied on before. We must say that its market development and technology applications are unlimited potential. From the aspect of national policy, the solar energy industry in each nation still uses the subsidies of energy policy to keep its industrial demand and incentive set-up. For the scale of the industry and the role positioning of each industry chain, the influence is very far-reaching. This study probed into the opportunities and strategies of the M & A model in the perspective of system providers of solar energy industry in Taiwan, and then maintained the company competitiveness and retained the business advantages in the price-cutting competition market.
