Taiwan steel industry has faced a major challenge in the global competitive environment. The strength of company competitiveness depends on ability of innovation and environmental adaptability. Due to global economic slowdown and weak industrial production, in the past decade global steel market relies on China extensive domestic market. Nowadays, the main risk of steel market is China economic growth slowdown and excessive construction capacity, it results global steel demand keep decreasing. For Taiwan, the falling steel prices was driven by the collapse in raw materials and lower output costs from China and weak domestic demand from Taiwan. Under current severe economic environment, it is important for company to survive by innovating continuously, adjusting business strategies and changing organizational structure to increase profitable growth and keep company’s competiveness. Therefore, in this thesis we take traditional company, “Tung Ho Steel Enterprise corporation” as an example to discuss how a company keep competitiveness and increase profitable growth by keeping innovation and business transformation and business integration with management strategy in variable business market. This is the main idea of this thesis. The thesis will discuss development of Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corporation from the points of innovation、transformation and integration according to reference and case analysis.
