First, the researcher makes a survey to understand the students’ attitude to Physical Education and their exercise habits. Second, the researcher designs a fun volleyball teaching methods. Finally, the researcher explores the effect on students’ learning attitude to Physical Education and exercise habits. The researcher applies action research approach and teaches “Hip-Hop Volleyball”, “Super Volleyball”, “Fun volleyball and softball” and “ZBVL” as a theme to develop the fun volleyball teaching module. There were 26 six-graders from Jhubei elementary school class 603 in Hsin-Chu county participating in this study for 8 periods. By collecting and analyzing the data such as a survey of students’ exercise habits, Physical Education attitude scale, classroom observation records, learning feedback sheets, and teacher’s self- reflection notes, the researcher is able to explore the teaching process and the improvement in the performance of students’ attitude to Physical Education and their exercise habits. There are three major findings of the study: 1. The researcher developed a fun volleyball teaching module and grew professionally during different teaching stages. 2. Fun volleyball teaching methods significantly built up students’ positive attitudes to Physical Education. 3. Fun volleyball teaching methods significantly enhanced students’ exercise habits. Finally, proposing suggestions for curriculum, teaching materials, teachers, and school administration according to the research findings, and making recommendations for those who are interested in fun volleyball teaching methods and for further studies.
