Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 競技運動學系碩士班 === 105 === Purpose: The purpose of the study is to compare badminton players and non-athletes in multi-object tracking (MOT) task. Methods: 48 participants including 17 elite male badminton players and 31 male non-athletes in the control group were recruited. The multiple object tracking task(MOT) which has been proposed by Pylyshyn and Storm in 1988 was used to evaluate players' visual tracking ability in different numbers of moving objects and different moving speeds. The major purpose of the MOT test was to measure humans' visual and sustainable attention. Using Two-way ANOVA mixed analysis to compare correct rate of the badminton player's to control group in every experiment situation. Result: Badminton players were better than non-athletes(F=0.791, P=.017)in tracking a single target. No significau difference between two groups in all tracking objects in different speeds. Conclusion: Badminton players are better in tracking a single target than non-athletes, due to long period badminton training.
