| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 運動事業管理學系碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the determinant which has effect on sports demand from macroeconomic. Due to sustained economic growth, social progress, advance of the living standard and national income constant rise, leisure time has significantly increase. It furthers people’s interest and participation on sports interiorly. This study collects official statistics data from 2001 to 2015 in our country, and analysis the most critical factor on sports demand.
This study attempts to build a multi variable regression model to predict the sports demand in Taiwan using key macroeconomic indicators. The result shows that national income, unemployment rate, gasoline price and exchange rate have significant influence. Government institution could take this result as a reference with making policy and make some adjustment, in order to enhance the demand of sports.
