Teaching Materials of Vocational Training Program for Bridal Hair Styling

碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 技職教育研究所 === 105 === The aims of this research are to develop bridal hairstyling teaching materials for trainees who participate in advanced bride secretary vocational training program and to examine the effectiveness of the teaching materials on the knowledge, skill, and total learning of these trainees. The participants are the 24 trainees of advanced bride secretary vocational training program of “Barber Hairdresser and Beautician's Trade Union Kaohsiung City” during the second half of 2016. The teaching materials included seven types of bridal hairstyling. The research is, first of all, the had lessons with teaching materials which were provided during the bridal hairstyling courses. After each training course, the trainees took the questionnaire and had the interview in order to collect data. Moreover, the subjective analysis method was employed to examine qualitative data. The study further employed descriptive statistics and a single sample t test to analyze the results of the questionnaires. The following results are as follows: First of all, the results show that it is worthy of developing the bridal hairstyling teaching materials with seven major styles by combining practical requirements at work with the hottest bridal hairstyling trends at present and in the future. The characteristics of the teaching materials are to prepare clear operation process flow charts with complete descriptions, offering explanations of the key skills and obvious hair styles, explaining and emphasizing on the main differences with comparing different hair styles. In addition to this, the teaching materials can be divided into seven types, including European Gorgeous, Fashion Ladies, Retro Nobles, Japanese Fresh Style, Pretty Sweetheart, Fashion Magazine and Korean Elegance. The contents of the teaching materials also include the overall goals of the bridal hairstyling materials, descriptions of hairstyling designs, the styling tables and seven types of bridal hairstyling illustrations etc. Secondary, according to the teaching materials, the results obviously indicate that the students gain knowledge and gradually improve the professional skills and the whole bridal hair design learning. Finally, according to the above results, this study can be contributed with the future development of the bridal hairstyling teaching materials and teaching suggestions.
