Based on the derived model, the complex dynamic behavior of pneumatic solenoid valves can be described by some simple equations which can give constructive suggestions in design and manufacturing of solenoid valves. Via computer simulations for the dynamic model, the dominant parameters which significantly affect the responses can be found accordingly. In this research, the dynamics of the solenoid valve are separated into four parts, namely, the first part is electric dynamics, the second part is magnetic dynamics, the third part is armature motion dynamics, and the last part is pneumatic dynamics. The simulation results will be compared with the results from experiments.
