Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 應用外語系所 === 105 === The rapid growth of information technology has driven the dramatic changes in our life style with innovative information technology (IT) products and Internet applications nowadays. Comparing with textbooks, students prefer learning with these mobile devices (Liu, 2010). However, mobile assisted language learning (MALL) has significantly transformed the form of language teaching and learning. The purpose of this study aims to explore the six graders’ English achievements through using LINE App as an auxiliary tool after school. A total of 30 sixth grade elementary students participated in a 12-week experiment. All participants were divided into control group (8 females, 7 males) and experiment group (8 females, 7 males). Data was collected from a pre-test, a post test, a survey questionnaire on learning achievement, and interviews. The major findings of the study reveal that using mobile-assisted English examination questions solving contrast to the traditional method has a positive effect on the experimental group students’ achievement.
