The survey participants were 722 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students sampled from junior high school students in Yunlin County. The instruments included the Hurt Feeling Experiences Scale and the School Life Adjustment Scale. Data obtained in this study were analyzed by perforing descriptive statistics, Hotelling’s T 2 test, one-way MANOVA, and structural equation modeling. The main results are summarized as follows: 1.Junior high school students’ hurt feeling experiences resulted from peers and teachers were few. 2.Junior high school students’ school life adjustment was good. 3.Gender differences were found on junior high school students’ hurt feeling experiences resulted from peers, but not found on the experiences resulted from teachers. 4.Grade differences were not found on junior high school students’ hurt feeling experiences resulted from peers and teachers. 5.Gender differences were not found on junior high school students’ learning adjustment, discipline adjustment, relationship with teachers, and relationship with peers in school life. 6.Grade differences were found on junior high school students’ discipline adjustment, but not found on learning adjustment, relationship with teachers, and relationship with peers in school life. 7.The hypothesized relationship model of junior high school students’ hurt feeling experiences and school life adjustment fit the observed data well. Finally, based upon the results, the researcher provided suggestions for educational practice and future research. CHEN, PIN-HUA 陳品華 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW
