The research was done by surveying preschool educators and the primary research tool was a questionnaire compiled by the researcher. The research group was comprised of public and private preschool educators in Kaohsiung who have special students in their class who are currently receiving or who have previously received, itinerant counseling services. The research was conducted during the Republic of China’s 104th and 105th academic years. A total of 188 valid samples were obtained. Data analysis included: descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance and the use of Scheffè’s method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. On the whole, preschool educators were satisfied with special education itinerant teacher services. Their satisfaction of services was rated according to degree of satisfaction and is arranged from most satisfied to least satisfied. The order is as follows: administrative support, curriculum education, advisory services, professional knowledge and parental education. 2. There were no significant differences in levels of satisfaction with respect to the age, years of service, qualification, or educational background of the sample group of preschool teachers. 3. Significant differences in levels of satisfaction were found amongst educators with different teaching experiences, different special education backgrounds and from different preschool and teaching districts. As a result of this study, suggestions were provided for the education administration, preschool special education itinerant teacher services and for future research.
