Especially, it intended to explore if there were any breakthroughs in anti-aging research, through four foci: the factors of aging, the preventive and affordable measure people can take to promote longevity, the generally agreed-upon keys to rejuvenation and the controversial and contentious issues. The participants in the study comprised six doctors─among the six specialists on anti-aging interviewed, three are doctors. - two of whom studied at Chinese Medical University. The other is a Master of Science (in Medicine). Although the rest of them didn’t have the doctor licenses, they are a yoga teacher, a patient who is fighting cancer with strong will and the creator of Cho-ju. The participants were interviewed via a set of semi-structured open-ended question outlines. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively. Based on the data analysis, the major findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The 6 participants shared their experiences and professions on anti-aging, for instance, SOD, resveratrol such as telomere friendly foods for health care. In addition, the two doctors made speeches whose hot issues are related to the telomeres and health care of Chinese wisdom on public. They are inspired. 2. The factors of aging were studied profoundly and practical. There are three domains of influence on the factors of aging. Generally, they are climate, spirit and physique. One should keep himself warm, release stress and maintain proper postures. 3. The preventive and affordable measures people can take to promote longevity were generalized in three parts: keeping good habits according to nature, exercising and being a smart eater, so does Abdominal breathing 4. The generally agreed-upon keys to rejuvenation were agreed on the focus of spiritual health care. One should be always in calm base on Chinese Medical Theory and happy to treat everything in life. 5. For clarifying the theories, the researcher asked the next interviewee her doubts both in Aubrey’s findings and last interview. Some concepts are contentions and controversial and were noted on the thesis. Those disagreements need further research. Finally, the researcher would like to remind people to enhance their knowledge about health care and try to practice the practical principals. After all, jobs, dollars and relationship are all established on the health. To be active, to live healthily. Key words: anti-aging, health care, rejuvenation, telomere, telomerase Stephen Paul Ohlander 歐司迪 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 216 en_US
