Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 105 === Abstract The purpose of this research is to investigate the current situation and the relationship of the teaching faith, job involvement, and teaching effect of the tutoring teachers in Kaohsiung City. We made an investigation on the influence of the teaching faith, job involvement, and teaching effect in aspects of genders, ages, education levels, professional backgrounds, and teaching years. And then, we make conclusions and suggestions according to the findings. The method of questionnaire survey was used by a revised questionnaire regarding the teaching faith, job involvement and teaching effect of the tutoring teachers in Kaohsiung City. And the studying subject are the members of the arts and sciences, foreign languages, and skills of cram schools in Kaohsiung City, which are definitely legal and have governmental certification. There were 60 cram schools involved and 600 questionnaires issued by proportional random sampling in this study, and 555 of them were retrieved. The retrieve rate was 92.5%. The data was processed with SPSS for windows 18.0 software package, respectively on Descriptive Statistic Analysis, Independent-Samples t-Test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Analysis, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. Major findings of the study can be summarized below: 1. The teachers’ total teaching faith is of middle or high level, among which “teacher professional enthusiasm” is the best. 2. The teachers’ total job involvement is of middle or high level, among which “working fun” is the best. 3. The teachers’ total teaching effect is of middle or high level, among which “adaptive teaching” is the best. 4. The tutoring teachers with higher teaching faith are those of over 41 in age, institute graduation, graduation related to education and 11-20 in working years. 5. The tutoring teachers with higher job involvement are those of male, over 41 in age, institute graduation, graduation related to education and 11-20 in working years. 6. The tutoring teachers with higher teaching effect are those of over 41 in age, institute graduation, graduation related to education and 11-20 in working years. 7. The teaching faith, job involvement and teaching effect of tutoring teachers were positively related. 8. The teaching faith and the job involvement can be use to predict teaching effect. “Teacher professional enthusiasm” does best in predicting. Key words: teaching faith, job involvement, teaching effect
