Reckless driving, Tailgating, Running red lights, Improper Turns, Tight side distance, and Running stop signs are the top 6 causes of traffic accidents and the best proofs of human negligence is the main reason for the causes of traffic accident. This Study is based on the causes of traffic accident to analyze what kinds of environmental factors could result in traffic accident. This is a study on the Correlativity of Traffic Accident Factors in Kaohsiung. The study will base on understanding correlativity of the causes of traffic accident, perpetrators’ age, accident surroundings and weather. To be clarifying, the study is based on the statistics data from motorcycle, as the numbers of motorcycles are way more than cars, and usually caused serious accident. The study sources come from the accident reports from 2006-2016 from Traffic Police Brigade. The reports will be viewed in 5 scopes: Full scope; First party (motorcycle) and second party (motorcycle) accident based on first party; First party (motorcycle) and second party (motorcycle) accident based on second party; First party (car) and second party (motorcycle) based on first party (motorcycle); First party (car) and second party (motorcycle) based on first party (motorcycle) based on second party (motorcycle). By using SPSS statistic, the result shows the factors are irrelevant. Riding a motorcycle is more dangerous because of the low coverage to a person. There is no seat belt or safety airbag for motorcycle but only helmet. Therefore the damages of riding a motorcycle such as fall off or hit against car are usually more serious than driving a car. It is very important for motorcycle drivers to pay more attention on the road and keep their eyes and ears open. LEE, MING-TSUNG 李明聰 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 64 zh-TW
