Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程系碩士班 === 105 === Equipment and production system are important assets in the enterprise. If the equipment fails, that may cause the plant to be unable to operate, even may lead to product unable output on scheduled. In worst cases, it may lead to environmental pollutions or process accidents, which implies that ensuring the mechanical integrity of plant asset is key to maintaining safe operation as well as the product quality.
Maintenance management is easier said than done. In order to ensure sound asset management and for the enterprise to adopt best maintenance strategy, one must rely on analysis of big data, and results of it.
Both domestic and foreign plants seek to continually improve maintenance management with a goal to achieve best practices in maintenance management that is most suitable for the enterprise. Most of software tools commonly used by Foreign plants are already ISO 55000 compliant, from which KPI’s are computed. Use international standard EN 15341 as a measure of maintenance management indicators has become a consensus for benchmarking performance.
In contrast, it is mostly impossible for domestic to follow EN 15341 and use the KPI’s as a tool for guiding the direction of improvement. Only through the implementation of ISO 14224 as the exchange standard for maintenance history can the realization of EN15341 become possible.
In this study, one of the top domestic petrochemical plants was used as an example for the feasibility of turning asset data into KPI’s conforming to EN 15341. Further, the practical approach for accessing and accumulating necessary data for calculating KPI’s are also discussed.
