Therefore,there is always accident issues when vessels maneuvering at sea, and one of them is the medical issue concerningthe number of medical equipment,the quality of medical personnel and so on.Moreover,with the medical knowledge and quality areimproving nowadays,the quality of medical affairs for navy vessel should enhance as well.Ourresearch is mainly focus on the quality of medical affairs at Navy vessel. By reviewing the historical papers, the information from the personnel being interviewed,ourresearch frame has built base on the importance and performance level of medical service.The purpose is to find out the level of importance and performance for medical serviceon vessel in order to know where pros and cons are.Then, we propose the priority sequence of improving medical service by the results of analysis. From the importance and performance analysis of the research,the prior improving section includes 6 items as following:”whether the medical equipment of infirmary is enough for accident at sea?”, ”whether the shortage of medical personnel affects the quality of medical service?”, ”whether crew members trust the ability of medical treatment?”, ”whether crew members trust the quality of medical service?”, ”whether medical personnel enhance profession by advanced study or intern frequently?”,”whether the profession for medical personnel meets the requirement for the accidence when vessel maneuvering at sea?”. The quality of medical service on a vessel will enhance if conducting improvement of the above six items which crew members considering most need.
