Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 海事資訊科技研究所 === 105 === Agriculture is a very important industry in Taiwan, and it is quite dependent on the right climate and the right place. In recent years, the greenhouse effect has made the global warming become more and more serious, causing the phenomenon of abnormal climate. Due to the special geographical environment of Taiwan, the incidence of natural disasters is always high every year. And these natural disasters may contain typhoons, heavy rains, earthquakes, cold damage, burning wind, drought, pests and diseases, soil erosion, etc., but any of which will cause the loss of agricultural production.
In order to investigate the influence of meteorological factors on the differences of rice yield in the first and second periods of Taiwan. In this study, we compiled the harvested area and yield of rice cultivation in Taiwan, and the average monthly precipitation, average rainfall days, average sunshine hours, average relative rainfall, average relative humidity, average temperature measured at the stations in Taiwan from 2005 to 2015.
In the past, studies have confirmed that the rainfall, temperature and sunshine hours are related to rice growth. However, according to the Council of agriculture Executive Yuan's annual report shows that there is no obvious relationship between the three. It is necessary to use the spatial information distribution to identify the hotspot areas of the three and identify factors that can affect the agricultural production in each region. Therefore, this study will use the distribution of hot and cold areas to explore the relationship between rice and various variables.
