碩士 === 國立高雄餐旅大學 === 餐旅研究所 === 105 === This case study explores the influence of the career development process of a female Principal on her leadership cultivation through the in-depth interviews with researcher and research participant, and in a narrative way to describe that Miyue female Principal how her family background, school process and work experiences affect her personal leadership, leadership characteristics, and leadership style to develop. The results of this study summarize the following factors of growth process on the Miyue ’s leadership to develop : 1.The leading faith influenced at an early age: In Miyue’s student times, it holds the mentalities of respect and obedience to the teacher, also trains her the faith that those who respect others will be respected by others. 2.Qualities that come from sustainable leadership practices: Miyue from small grasped every opportunity to learn, and participate in community activities as a cadres and a volunteer. She cultivated the qualities of responsible, enthusiastic service and having the courage to take on. 3.Leadership styles from the significant others: Miyue was influenced by father and a Primary school teacher. Miyue from small with them learned to understand different student’s different areas and personality. She also participated in essay contest, performed plays and served as flag bearer. It developed her style that held great composure on stage, built confidence, and got along well with people. 4.Career development process affect Miyue leadership faith as a principal: She cared teamwork, and tailored for her own school unique features. She took action and team spirit as bright spots and created a rock image. 5.Career development affects Miyue principal's leadership traits: Miyue took office months after principal. Her leadership qualities can be seen by listening, being good at communication, reflecting on herself, diligent effort, and attention other interactive features. 6.Career development affects Miyue principal's leadership style: Miyue principal build life community with teachers and students. They not only thick together through thick and thin, but also share weal and woe. She wins people by virtue, and makes good use of leadership styles and methods. She plays effectiveness leadership, and makes a fruitful results.
