| Summary: | 碩士 === 南榮科技大學 === 工程科技研究所碩士班 === 105 === Due to the widespread availability of smart phone and free Wi-Fi access, Information and Communication Technology, and its rapid development, has led many schools to review the ways teachers use a range of innovative methods and resources to engage students in their learning. Under the enforcement provisions of relevant plans, the idea of smart campus is already being promoted, through digital learning, by many schools. Nan Jeon University of Science and Technology (NJU), situated at Yanshui District in Tainan City, covers an area of around 7.21 hectares, is the only scientific and technological university to the north of Zen-wen Creek, which is fully furnished and equipped for education, and also in close proximity to the main local community facilities.
In light of the future application of Information and Communication Technology, via Augmented Reality in high-tech innovation and the growth of mobile technology, this paper uses the campus of NJU as an example to conduct research and publish findings on matters relating to the creation of smart campus mobile applications. The purpose of this study is to further enhance knowledge and understanding of the Augmented Reality technology used on-campus, integrate all course information and videos of the departments, scenery and scenic elements, etc., with the use of digital preservative tools and processes for marketing and promotion. Furthermore, the preliminary results will provide applications and services, including visual simulations, mobile data connections, etc., which is targeted at NJU, from the experience gained and knowledge learned in Augmented Reality technology.
