Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 文化創意事業管理學系文創行銷碩士班 === 105 === In order to increase the reading ability as well as the national competiveness, Changhua County Government established community reading centers in many junior high schools and elementary schools to provide excellent reading environments. The Community Reading Center of Cun-Dong Elementary School, one of the most popular reading centers around the county, is famous for its ingenuity design and outstanding reading climate which obtains very high reputation and attracts lots of visitors. This study was aimed to focus on whether the original goal is achieved or not.
The Community Reading Center at Cun Dong elementary school is known for its delicate and well-designed space. And this study is focusing on whether the original goal is achieved or not.
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the users’ motivation, satisfaction, and reuse intention of the community reading center. And the study alos analyzed the differences and correlation of the three variables among various background variables.
Questionnaires survey method was conducted in this study. A total of 250 questionnaires were issued with 209 valid response received, which accounts for 97.2% of all the questionnaires handed out. After statistical analysis, such as descriptive-statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product moment correlation, Regression, conclusions were made. The following is the summary of the study:
1. For the motivation, there is significant difference on users’ gender, occupation, reading interest, staying duration, frequency of visit and companions coming along.
2. The satisfaction about the survey with differences depends on the variable of different users’ age, reading interest, frequency of visit and companions coming along.
3. Different age, reading interest, frequency of visit and companions coming along are significantly affecting the reuse intention of users.
4. There is a significant positive relationship among motivation, satisfaction and reuse intention.
Finally, based on the results and conclusions, several suggestions are made as followed:
1. To increase the frequency of use, the community reading centers could held more reading activities.
2. The demands and opinions of users should be duly followed.
3. The community reading center could create decent reading atmosphere and environment for the users to take reading as leisure time activity.
4. Promotion in the community and recruitment of volunteers are also ways to inform the residents what kinds of service and resources the community center can provide.
