Following steps, with gradual trainings and the elevation of players’ participation motivation and the removal of obstructions, the athletic levels of students would be improved. It would be a great help to the nurturing of national elite athletes. This study investigated volleyball team players’ participation motivation and obstructions of playing volleyball. There were more male than female players in the volleyball team, suggesting that boys enjoy training and sweating in volleyball training yard. Most of the participants trained 4 to 8 hours per week, showing that participants’ motivation would be the biggest when the training time is appropriate. The mostly welcomed ball-game competition show on TV was volleyball competition, showing that volleyball players favor volleyball over the others sports. 2.
