However, the traditional glove-puppet show has gradually lost its popularity because of modern entertainments such as movies and TV shows. In order to keep this intangible cultural heritage and its sustainable development, a glove-puppet show group was established at Jhih Hang Elementary School in Chiayi City in 2006. The group founders were the teachers with glove-puppet show professionals in the school. They started to write scripts, train students, and promote the group and the performing art inside and outside the school. In recent years, however, the group operation has been in a difficult situation because the founder teachers were retired. To get out of the predicament and to keep the traditional glove-puppet show cultural inheritance, further analyzing the key factors of how school groups operate traditional performing arts such as glove-puppet show will be beneficial for schools to carry on traditional performing art inheritance work. This study is a case study of Jhih Hang Elementary School Glove-Puppet Show Group in Chiayi City. It adopts the Analytic Hierarchy Process to construct the key factors of glove-puppet show group operation. The findings show that the prorities of the three management facets constructed in this study are "government promotion", "social participation", and "school operation". Besides, the research on overall assessment shows that "parents' recognition", "financial assistance" and "teachers’ recognition and support" are the three most important critria. Therefore, we can see that stable student participation, stable funding subsidies, and whether the school teachers can identify with the traditional glove-puppet show group and provide support or not are essential factors of successful group operation. They have great impact on school’s traditional glove-puppet show group operation. HUANG, YU-KAI 黃昱凱 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 87 zh-TW
