In the proposed scheme, we tried to get a WiFi AP’s MAC address and other parameters, such as: unit code, passphrase and time stamp, to encrypt / decrypt data within a WiFi AP infrastructure environment. For considering mobility, requirement and practicality of encryption / decryption process, multiply WiFi APs’ MAC addresses would be adopted to encrypt and decrypt data in the proposed scheme. In the proposed scheme, the unit code, passphrase, time stamp and WiFi APs’ MAC address would be used to generate random number seeds for the enhanced LCG random number generator. With a serial of generated random numbers, the proposed scheme can use different combinations of data scramble functions and parameters to encrypt / decrypt data. With the proposed scheme, encrypted data would be restrict in specific WLAN areas to decrypt and process it. At last, we implement the proposed encryption scheme with the Android studio and NDK.
