This regulation enhances the effectiveness on three aspects, namely treatment, dignity and future carreer, to improve the effects of recruiting enlisted soliders and their willing to remain staying in troops. Therefore, the ROC Ministry of National Defense (MND) employes two new measures including the ‘combat-troop pay’ and the ‘signing bonus’. These measures aim to reduce the frequent replacement and to remain the combat strength of troops. However, both the physical technical requirement of combat units are far higher than the units of logistics and administration that are considered the forces in the rear. In addition, these members in combat units are required to be used to strict training and be in the front line during war times. Thus, not only the recruiting results but also the signing rate of combat units are lower than other units. In order to ease this situation, this study aims to look into the relation between the willing of remaining in troops and the factors of Professional Idnetity and Oganizational Identy. In order to identify the driving factors, volunteer members in Taiwan armor troops were selected as studied objects and the investigating method of questionaires was employeed. The findings include: 1. The differences of personal background such as age, marriage, eduction, ranks and seniority influce the factors of professional values, job satisification and organizaional commitment. 2. The relation between the job satisification and the willing of remaining in troops is significant. Based on these two findings, this study suggests that the efforts of identifying the differences of personal background and improving the leadership and organization identify of troops required further improvement.
