According to the 2009-2013 statistics, Taiwan has about over 30,000 children suspected of being abused every year, it means one person is abused in every 18 minutes. There are more than 100 cases in each social workers in Taiwan. According to the report of abuse, an average of about every 31 minutes there is a person in urgent needs our assistance. The case of domestic parents with their children commit suicide or kill their own children is bringing the forefone of the external world to social workers, actually , with the increasing number of cases of domestic violence, abuse case is cumulative more and more, lack of manpower and other issues are not clearly resolved, until the unfortunate events, those accusations of social workers, is not fair. With the increase in domestic violence and child abuse in Taiwan, the pressure on protective social workers is considerable, and scholars have pointed out that some domestic protected social workers, each one is responsible for more than 100 cases, so as to provide intensive, crisis treatment difficulties, often makes the social workers feel depression . The current society has gradually attached importance to the human rights of the cases of "abuse" and "protection". However, the feelings and pressures of protected social workers are often overlooked and misunderstood , therefore the turnover rate of protected social workers has been high. However, the education of social workers can not be completed overnight. The humanistic exhaustion of protected social workers is not popular. If we can understand the voices of protective social workers through this study, the working pressure can be effectively relieved , Thereby reducing the mobility of protected social workers.
This study uses qualitative research in the depth of the interview to present the characteristics of " the study on working pressure and turnover rate of protective social workers - to Hualien county government as an example", the use of semi-structured way to carry out a purposeful conversation two-way communicative process , The interaction of equality, the principle of flexibility, active listening, etc. As a method of collecting information, the qualitative method can help the researcher to study the subject of interest, and has the depth, the openness, the thoroughness, etc ... Characteristics, although the number of samples obtained less, but the content is rich, so that researchers increase the understanding of the respondents. Therefore, this study adopts the in-depth interview of "qualitative research method", interviews with semi-structured interview outline, collects relevant research data and summarizes and analyzes, expcet to interpret the protection of social workers and cases in the county and city government from the nature of the study The experience and experience of the process, and then understand the source of work and the flow of social workers and explore the experience of the discovery, and look forward to this study to the protection of social workers reference applications.
