Besides, this study also explored the differences in personality traits,parenting style,and career self-efficacy of the students from different backgrounds. The research applies the “Questionnaire Survey” for data collection, and the samples are the senior high school students in Yunlin County . By stratified random sampling, 500 questionnaires are distributed with 486 available questionnaires obtained (249 males, 237 females).All participants were administered the Personality Traits Scale, the Parenting Style Scale and the Career Self-efficacy of Scale.The statistic data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics, T-tests, One-way ANOVA , Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results were shown as follows: 1.The personality traits of senior high school students tend to be agreeable, conscientious, emotionally stablility , extroversion and openness to Experience according to the ranking order. 2.In the parenting style of senior high school students,the "mother asked" style scored the highest, followed by "father asked," "mother responded" and "father responded." 3.The most dominent factor affecting the career self-efficacy of senior high school students is "professional self-assessment, "target Selection ", "self-assessment ability and personality", "livelihoods data collection" ,and "goal selection". 4.The senior high school students of different gender and grade are significantly different in part of personality traits . 5.The senior high school students of different gender and grade are huge significantly different in part of parenting style. 6.The senior high school students of different gender and grade are not significantly different in part of career decision. 7.The relationship between senior high school students' personality traits and career self-efficacy showed low level positive correlation mostly. 8.The relationship between senior high school students' parenting style and career self-efficacy showed low level positive correlation mostly. 9. High School Students Personality Traits in "friendliness" of career self-efficacy of the most predictive power.
