Corresponding statistics were applied to analyze the data, i.e. descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA with the Scheffé Method, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, simple regression, and simultaneous regression analysis. The findings of the study were reported as follows: 1.Targeted parents’ attitudes in kindergartens of Chiayi City on Minnan language teaching were above the average level . 2.Targeted parents’ perceptions of their young children’s learning outcomes perception in kindergartens of Chiayi City on Minnan language teaching were above the average level. 3.There were no statistically significant differences in targeted parents’ attitudes on Minnan language teaching among all factors examined. 4.There were statistically significant differences in targeted parents’ perceptions of ther children’s learning outcomes on Minnan language teaching among the factors of age, occupation, education background, and the daily common use language, while no significant difference was found among the factor of gender. 5.There was significantly positive correlation between targeted parents’ attitudes on Minnan language teaching and parents’ perceptions of their young children’s learning outocmes (whole scales and all sub-scales). 6.Targeted parents’ attitudes e on Minnan language teaching effectively predicted parents’ perception of their young childrn’s learning outcomes, with 22.7% (the whole scale) and 27.5% (five sub-scales) variance explained; besides, the “thoughts about the curriculum of Minnan language courses” sub-scale had the greatest influence.
